Piping Competition
The Payson Scottish Festival includes The Helen Scott Memorial Massed Bands at the opening and closing ceremonies on Saturday.
There are WUSPBA bagpipe solo and band competitions as well.

Opening Ceremonies and Parade will be held at 10:00 AM on the Parkview Elementary Playing Fields on 300 South, and include the Clan Parade, Payson High School Pipe Band and Massed bands.
​
Closing Ceremonies will take place at 6PM on the Parkview Elementary Playing Fields on 300 South.
Solo and Band Competitions will take place
throughout the festival.

The solo piping events start on Friday night at 6:00 PM, ends at 9:00 PM and include all the grade 2, grade 1, and open solo piping events including Piobaireachd and grade 3 and grade 4 Piobaireachd competitions.
All other solo piping and drumming events happen Saturday morning starting at 7:00 AM.
Band competitions start at 1:00.
